Birmingham Light Festival has proven to be hugely popular, with 99% of audiences wanting the festival to return in 2026.

When the team at United By 2022 was approached to help with the Birmingham Light Festival – the city’s transformation into a gallery of illuminated artworks for 4 nights only – it was immediately a no-brainer that we would want to get involved.

A key pillar of this festival has always been legacy - beyond the festival itself, I have always wanted us to play a role in progressively lighting the city over time.

At Birmingham Light Festival, we are dedicated to integrating sustainable practices into our operations.

Birmingham Light Festival has released the list of dazzling installations which will transform the city centre into an illuminated, open-air gallery from 19th to 22nd February.

On 14 January we will be announcing the full programme for the first Birmingham Light Festival which will see the city-centre transformed into an illuminated gallery.

Birmingham Light Festival will brighten up the dark winter nights from 19-22 February 2025. Installations will illuminate Birmingham city centre as the Festival makes its debut.
