The Heartbeat of Brindleyplace

ARTIST

idontloveyouanymore

LOCATION

Oozells Square, Brindleyplace

The Heartbeat of Brindleyplace was a collection of live Brummie hearts. Each box contained a light, and each light was connected to the heartbeat of a participant - the light flashed on every heartbeat. Wherever the participants were during the festival, whether they were together or apart, far away or near the work, their heartbeats were seen, flashing together. It is part of a nationwide project called Matters of the Heart by creative studio idontloveyouanymore.

⏺︎ SPOTLIGHT

A pulsing collection of live Brummie heartbeats.
